New: The Readers Award of the Czech Book

Members of the Czech Book Award’s jury selected five nominations. Four of the five nominees are women, including two authors of first novels.

The award ceremony will be held in the Industrial Palace in Prague on Friday, May 17th, 2013, 6 PM, in the framework of the Book World, the largest book fair in the country. In addition to a second laureate of the Czech Book Award, chosen by our jury of specialists, a first winner of the Readers Award of the Czech Book will be declared, issued from a public voting organized in association with the local media partners.
